The Great American Road trip! Featuring NYC, New Orleans, Chicago and LA. This was the theme for our annual July 4 official Embassy Bangkok reception. We wanted our guests to have a sense of a road trip across America. So we had billboards and Embassy staff dressed to go with each of our “pick” cities. Mardi Gras costumed gals talked New Orleans jazz, food and traditions. Surfers told of LA’s beaches and outdoor lifestyle. Sports carried the Chicago theme. And Lady Liberty and the “Big Apple” represented New York. At the end of the evening we all posed together, hoping our guests enjoyed a glimpse of the American summer road trip and our featured cities. We hope our Thai friends will visit the USA to see the wonders of America. Happy July 4!
